From a very humble beginning, the Department has been groomed to a fully functional directorate to meet the complexities of modern auditing. The Institute of Internal Auditors has challenged Internal Auditors to play a central role as active consultants in order to add value to all the functional areas of the organization. This undoubtedly rebrands the Internal Audit functions into three(3) key areas;

: Risk Managements and

: Compliance Audits

Management is working to strengthen the department with supporting staff and logistics to fulfill these functions and facilitate timely execution of its duties.
