Alhaji Antwi has been the University Librarian from the inception of UDS Library in 1993 to date. He is a Fellow of the Ghana Library Association, member of Ghana Institute of Management and was once external examiner for the Department of Information Studies, University of Ghana, Legon and GIMPA. He has on two occasions served as the Chairman, Committee of University Librarians and their Deputies. He was also Chairman, Standing Conference of African University Libraries, Western Area from 1999 – 2003 and a founding member and Vice President, West African Association of Library and Information Science Journal Editors.
