The Registrar is the Head of Administration. He is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor, the Chief Executive Officer for the general administration of the University. His Department is the hub around which the University revolves.
It is the Registrar's responsibility, to see to it that all University's functional bodies, officers and members and made aware of the relevant regulations and policies as they are formulated by the appropriate Boards or committees.
The Registrar is assisted in the day-to-day administration of the University, by a team of Assistant Registrars who work through Deputy Registrars. There are currently one Deputy Registrar, one Senior Assistant Registrar and fourteen Registrars who handle the five Units of the Registrars's Department namely:
