Background

Adda Kubasari Joshua holds the position of a Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Animal Science within the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Consumer Science. With nearly three years of dedicated service to the department, Mr. Adda demonstrates a profound commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. His primary research interests encompass forage production, conservation methodologies such as silage and hay production, and urea treatment of forage. Notably, he directs his focus towards the utilization of crop residues as ruminant feed, particularly during the dry season. Mr. Adda has made significant contributions to the academic community, having authored three articles and presented eight conference papers, all centered on forage production, conservation, and crop residue utilization. His extensive research experience extends to a two-year tenure as a Research Fellow with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA). Currently serving as the assistant supervisor for the ruminant (cattle and sheep) unit within the department. His commitment to fostering excellence in animal science is reflected in his role as a member of two professional associations: the Ghana Society of Animal Production (GSAP) and the Ghana Animal Science Association (GASA).
