Mr. George Dery is a lecturer in the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Management at the University for Development Studies, Ghana. He is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, specializing in Wildlife Management. His research focuses on wildlife ecology and conservation, wildlife nutrition, range ecology and management, and human-wildlife interactions. His PhD thesis/project focuses on seasonal nutritional variation between forage species consumed by elephants and their dung in Mole National Park. He is passionate about applying scientific research to improve biodiversity conservation and sustainable management.
