Background
Terry Ansah (PhD) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Science and currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Sciences (FoAFCS). He has served as Faculty/Campus coordinator of the University’s flagship Third Trimester Field Practical Program (TTFPP), Faculty Examination Officer and Vice Dean. Terry Ansah has over 11 years of working experience in the UDS as a teacher and researcher with over 40 refereed article publication and several international and local conferences. His teaching covers areas such as Animal nutrition, Pasture production and feed evaluation, and Animal production value chain. His research focus covers small ruminant and micro livestock feed formulation to optimise animal growth, pasture production and evaluation, crop/livestock systems, GHG mitigation in livestock. He has been involved in international project partnership with organisation such as, International Foundation for Science (IFS), International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), International Water Management Institute (IWMI), JIRCAS, Alliance, Biodiversity and CIAT(ABC) etc.
