Introduction

Welcome to the UDS School of Business (SoB). The School of Business is an excellent choice to attain your business education and prepare for a successful career in academia or industry. Our School is located at the UDS City Campus in Choggu-a pristine location in the heart of Tamale’s education ridge.

The School of Business provides exciting educational opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds and locations. We offer many different courses of study that prepare students for success in the real world. The faculty are dedicated professionals who excel in connecting with students and providing a welcoming and fulfilling educational experience. We currently run programmes at the undergraduate level. In addition, we will roll out other streams of postgraduate programmes during weekends and an annual sandwich session during the university’s third-trimester break (July-September).

The School of Business provides opportunities for experiential learning through its industrial attachment component for all its undergraduate students. Through its Industrial Attachment Unit, the School will support and guide student placements and internships in relevant organisations to enable them to gain work experience before graduating. Specifically, our weekend Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Sandwich MSc programmes target those who have dipped their toes into the professional world and pre-experienced candidates who may have only recently completed an undergraduate degree. Our regular postgraduate stream will cover Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy programmes with various options. It will target people already in academia or those who intend to build or start a career in academia.

Our student-centeredness and friendly, welcoming and supportive faculty will offer you the opportunity to know the faculty and work with them side by side on business ideas and research projects that promise to make your business and management education exciting and insightful.
